Out Story
Built out of frustration. Designed for simplicity.
Monitorly exists because website monitoring shouldn’t require a DevOps team or an enterprise budget.
Why we built Monitorly
A few years ago, we were evaluating website monitoring tools for a small business project. What we found was frustrating — every serious tool was built for developers and priced for enterprises. Dashboards full of options no small business owner would ever use. Pricing tiers that assumed you had a team of engineers. Setup processes that required reading documentation just to add your first monitor.
The simpler tools weren’t much better. Basic uptime checks with no real depth — you’d know your site was down, but not why, not for how long in each region, and not what impact it was having on your customers. And when something did go wrong, alerts would arrive late, or not at all.
We kept asking the same question: why isn’t there a tool that’s genuinely powerful under the hood, but simple enough that any business owner can set it up in five minutes and actually understand what it’s telling them?
We couldn’t find one. So we built it.
